When you're using Windows or Microsoft Family Safety on your computer, you can remove an account from a family group. The account will still exist, but it won't have the benefits or family settings it had when it was in the family group. There are different ways to remove members, based on whether they needed parental consent to join your family group.
In the Family Safety app, if there are saved places you don’t want used by the family group, you’ll need to remove them before you leave the family. If there are location alerts associated with the saved places, you’ll have to remove them before you can remove the saved places. Only the family member that set a location alert can remove it.

When organizers and members above statutory age want to leave, they can. or the Family Safety app, any places you saved with your family group can still be used by them after you leave, unless you delete them before you go.
